My second/final real-time unreal engine 5 environment project for my virtual environments class. This time, the goal was to make an interior environment that needed to be realistic. I went with a Victorian era theme. All assets were made by me, using a combination of Maya, Substance Sampler, and Substance Painter. The audio was edited by me, which includes my own recorded material and a royalty free sound which can be found here, https://pixabay.com/sound-effects/windmill-cog-wheel-56776/. This time I worked more with particle systems, creating water droplets, candle flames, and dust. I also decided to try raytracing for the first time and I think the difference looks amazing.
Real-time Preview. Raytraced.
